Sorry disagree.
Voting indicates at the very least your intent and inclination. It sets the tone and frames the current debate.
People notice these things; if not why would they spend so much money attempting to persuade us?
Exactly the same argument arises from considering the endless dissuasion techniques applied against considering climate change.
And before that tobacco and sugar, asbestos etc etc.
And more recently bad actors in the White House, Congress, Senate, Supreme court, Houses of Parliament etc.
Please, be my guest if you want to try and calculate the expected utility of every tiny choice, using a variety of models of probability.
But let me say for the record that I believe that consistently trying to do the right thing goes a long way.
