I live in the UK, and I have to confess I had to look up who CBN were.
It turns out they are a very conservative Christian outfit and quote from Wikipedia

"At the forefront of the culture Wars since the networks inception in the early 1960s".

Thankfully, they are not representative of a majority.

Although we have our fair share of complacency and denial here.

It's still alarming that idiocy like this is even out there, so thanks for enlightening me.
