People with surplus and “luxury of choice’” are at arguably higher risk of adapting to endless vistas of fabulousness, but it can happen to anyone (looking at bored teenagers here).
My point is that teenagers (hopefully) learn to use their time usefully. Well, mostly..
Equally, nothing stops the wealthy from learning how to be in the present and learn what they have.
This might need the ability to listen to external advice though, and maybe that skill has atrophied…
