I am blessed with a daughter.

At the age of four she put her lunch box on her back like a rucksack and walked purposefully around the living room. When I asked her what on earth she was doing:

I’m going to work!

Oh that’s interesting … and what do you do at work?

[matter- of -factly] I make robots.

Fast forward five years and I’m not sure we’ve managed to keep that fearless attitude intact.

And I’m very conflicted as to whether we should strive to encourage her in some directions.

Thank you for this glimpse behind the curtain. Bravo.
